On 30 November 2019, Assoc.Prof Seensiri Sangajit, Acting for President of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna together with executive and teacher welcomes Pol.Maj.Dr.Yongyut Sarasombat, senator, the President of the Committee on Administration of State Affairs, on a visit to the RMUTL Safe Zone dust-free room project by using the electric field technology to eliminate dust with small particles at the prototype room, Office of Academic Resource and Information Technology, RMUTL together with discussing the ways to use to solve the dust problem of the country sustainably.
On this occasion, Pol.Maj.Dr.Yongyut Sarasombat, that visit the PM 2.5 dust calibration laboratory, Research Unit of Applied Electric Field in Engineering , RMUTL ( Doi Saket ), Pa Pong Subdistrict, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai ,To see a demonstration of the calibration of the performance of the dust mask, materials used to filter dust, as well as watching demonstrations of the pulsed electric field process in the application for processing agricultural products. Which can extend the life and maintain more nutritional value than the conventional food preservation method using heat. Assoc. Prof.Dr. Panich Inta, teacher and researchers was a demonstrator of the aforementioned process for this visit, it is a good opportunity for the university in demonstrating the potential and capability of the faculty by applying science and technology to solve problems of the community society and can expanding into business.
